JOB DESCRIPTION
⢠Head Plant Nutrition Services will be instrumental for introducing new
products:
⢠The incumbent shall be providing advisory services for Crop and soil
management.
⢠He/she shall establish package of practices based on different agro-climatic
conditions.
⢠The role holder will be accountable for Crop modelling for fertilizers and
developing new crop nutrition solutions of commercial importance by
coordinating and evaluating with State Agricultural Universities, ICRA institutes
and client institutions.
⢠He/She shall get central Govt clearances for commercial marketing of the new
products.
⢠He / She is also required to regularly plan for market and consumer
development in new productsâ segment and interact with the various
stakeholders.
⢠The incumbent shall plan and overseeing field trials for new products.
⢠The role holder shall lead a multi-disciplinary team for developing & testing

new products as requisitioned by Business Heads of different speciality SBUs
Strategy & Planning
⢠Crop modelling for fertilizer and crop management and develop new projects for
agricultural research and of Commercial importance by Coordinating with State
Agricultural universities and ICAR institutes.
⢠Conduct research to identify requirements for new products. Enlist support of
relevant agencies to conduct research.
⢠Extend services in field at grass root level by providing advisory services to the
farming community and develop and educate them about the customized fertilizers
& other products for new areas and different crops.
⢠Establish and manage the Agri Solutions Centres
⢠Establish commercial value of the new products and get clearances thru quasi and
other Governmental bodies/ institutes.
⢠Develop brand and marketing plans for New Products, in coordination with Head â
Marketing Services, Head of Solutions and Lead â Planning & Budgeting.
⢠Allocate budgets, in coordination with the Lead â Planning & Budgeting.
⢠Assist in the development of the Annual Sales Plan for new products, in
coordination with Head - Sales.
Stakeholder Management & Customer satisfaction
⢠Identify appropriate stakeholders like customers, government bodies, channel
partners, etc and consolidate information to help build strong stakeholder
relationships.
⢠He/she shall be responsible for developing and educating farmers about CFs for
new areas and for different crops.
⢠Liaison with State and Central Govt officials.
