General English :

Various General English Tests are recognized as a qualification in English at different levels of proficiency by organizations and educational institutions across the world. All the Test results are mapped against the different levels of proficiency as identified by Common European Framework (CEFR levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2). The students are assessed on reading, writing, listening and speaking and learners who pass these exams for school are awarded certificates of Proficiency by Cambridge ESOL.

1. Key English Test (KET) - It is an elementary exam at Level A2 of CEFR
2. Preliminary English Test (PET) - it is a Lower Intermediate Exam at level B1 of CEFR

English for Young Learners :

Children who learn English when they are young will have an advantage that will stay with them all their life. Cambridge ESOL recognises this and has developed a special system of tests designed to get children of primary school age and upwards on the path to learning English.

Young Learners English (YLE) is a reliable and consistent measure of how well your child is doing in the skills of listening, speaking and reading and writing. Tests are designed to make learning fun and children are encouraged by working towards certificates and earning the 'shields' that record their progress. Cambridge's test for young learners is a stimulating, enjoyable and non threatening way of assessing a child's level of English at three different levels.

• YLE Starters :

  Taking a test such as YLE Starters is an excellent way of motivating your child to learn and showing how much progress he or she has made. It is a 50 minute assessment on Reading, writing, speaking and Listening and suitable for primary level students.
