Job Description


 To increase the level of employee engagement with the organization  To understand, identify, and find solutions to the employee related issues that impact productivity  Employee Engagement survey diagnostics and identifying gaps  Building HR interventions based on Employee Engagement survey results and follow up  Drive the employee welfare programs  Drive the performance management and productivity related programs  Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors  Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops  Publish training calendars for the entire manufacturing organization  Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees  Conduct orientation/induction sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.  Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.  Introduction of best practices - Coaching, mentoring, peer learning and web based learning  Talent pipeline development & succession planning  Identify high performers across the levels and chart out a development program for them  Design action learning projects for key talent readiness and monitoring  Manage the process of change management as and when required  Assist the HR Head with IR related issues and grievance handling  Work with Business Head and Head – HR on career development of high potential high performers  Establishing the Learning and Development and Organisational Development function at Plant Organisation  Giving a strategic direction to the Employee related initiatives  Setting up of internal systems and processes to institutionalize the L&D, OD process  Engage with the management and employees to align the requirements of both from HR perspective  Responsible for the budget allocated for his function
