About Job
The purpose of the role is that the incumbent should be well versed with handling legal matters and agreements of the Company including compliance management. He/She should possess a comprehensive understanding of various laws and is expected to be the conscious keeper for the company from a legal and compliance perspective. He/ She shall be required to provide legal counsel and guidance to the Management on all legal matters including contracts, agreements, commercial negotiations wrt raw material supplies/large projects; policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Apart from this, he would be responsible for drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing all agreements/contracts entered into by the Company.
Job Description
Drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing agreements with suppliers, service providers,
customers, banks and financial institutions.
Handling agreements, contracts and other allied matters in respect of ammonium nitrate
project of the Company.
Managing existing joint venture agreements and drafting, negotiating and finalizing
agreements and documentation related to business acquisitions and investments inside and
outside India which may include overall handling of the mid and large scale transactions.
Providing legal advice to various departments of the Company
Drafting and finalizing replies to show cause notices, letters, complaints, etc. received by the
Company.
Review, research, interpret and prepare both written and oral opinions on various legal
issues.
Representing the organization before various statutory authorities in respect of show cause
notices, complaints, cases, in respect of business of the Company.
Reviewing and finalizing petitions, applications, rejoinders, affidavits, authorizations, etc. filed
before the courts or other statutory authorities.
Engaging appropriate counsels and briefing them in respect of litigations by or against the
Company.
