General Manager – HSE & Sustainability
About Job
This position works collaboratively with Corporate Leadership and Facilities Leadership to drive HSE & Sustainability/ESG strategies and reporting for the Company. GM HSE and Sustainability will report directly to VP Manufacturing and work closely with fellow team members and various stakeholders across the Company. Position drives the execution of the HSE & Sustainability strategies by working with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze and report on various ESG metrics and targets and work towards compliance on their various parameters
Job Description
Articulate an HSE & ESG strategy that is directly tied to the business' strategies and
goals
Develop and execute corporate sustainability initiatives and strategies
Develop and execute an overall program management and change management
strategy related to business initiatives/processes
Develop annual and long-term company's sustainable development goals.
Prepare annual ESG/Sustainability reports on progress to senior management as per
the regulatory guidelines
Creates policies, guidelines related to sustainability programs affecting the
environment, health, and safety of the organization, governance bodies and society
in general
Engages with internal stakeholders and presenting regular sustainability reports and
conduct sustainability assessments.
Manage the due diligence on all business unit's Policies
Safety as first value of the company, Strategy on 'Zero Harm Vision' for the company
Sustainability Strategy for the company with long term and short-term goals and
targets
Build capabilities & engaging Top management/Line mangers/ Co-ordinators
Green House Gas (GHG) Accounting (scope1&2) and certification by 3rd party for
entire organization
Development of BRSR - Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting
Set up road map on ESG Disclosure and maturing framework around
Sustainability/ESG/SDGs
Streamline Community development/Social responsibility metrics/Volunteering
engagement.
