About Job

This position is to be based in West India and S/He would be required to drive and build a sustainable trading business through development of Specialty and Water-Soluble Fertilizer across the country while handling about 50-60 existing clients and more to be acquired by them. The candidate should be able to identify potential institutions across the agri domain, identify their crop nutrition gaps and work with them in identification of relevant WSF products to meet their requirements. Accordingly, they should be able to identify relevant suppliers from across the globe to fulfil these requirements of domestic clients.

Job Description

  1. Individual with excellent connect with manufacturers/ traders and ability  to get grow the business 
  2. Knowledge of local Indian fertilizer industry 
  3. Good communication skills - written and verbal 
  4. Good analytical skills and ability to interpret market intelligence data for effective decision making 
  5. Ability to liaise effectively with external agencies and good networking  skills
  6. Graduate, preferably MBA in Marketing/Finance 
  7. Proven experience in WSF fertilizer sales/ trading.
  8. High customer connects (ability to work with large counterparties and generate repeat business) 
  9. Operational knowledge - Trade Support/logistics/port operations/Fertilizer Sales and Distribution in Indian market 
  10. Must be willing & prepared for travel across assigned territory 
  11. Strong industry networks and proven strong sales track record
