Job Description

Overall Project Schedule and Project Management.

Operations Excellence & Industrial Engineering activities.

Health & Safety Practices.

Work closely with the Design department to ensure final product specifications were suitable for mass production.

Collaborate with quality control to define non-conformance and rework standards. Implemented project- specific safety protocols and PPE requirements to reduce risks.

Review workforce utilisation, facility layout and operational data to forecast production schedules.

Identify design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) best practices and opportunities.

Coordinate manufacturing workflow to optimize labour and equipment performance.

Explore different cost-effective strategies to increase output.

Review facility layouts and workforce schedules to determine and resolve production bottlenecks.

Establish and enforce excellent production and testing standards to decrease defective products and waste.

Define material flows, capacities and layout of plants and systems.

Document and enforce adherence to manufacturing specifications and company SOPs.
