The client company is looking for a leader with 21+ years of experience in determining the strategic operational direction of the company’s Speciality Chemicals unit, set the plan for products, processes with the goal of increasing efficiency and profitability. Managing teams that handled Projects / Construction /Operations/ Procurement / Unit finance / Unit HR / Operational excellence. Collaborating closely with designers and engineers in the product development phase; stayed active during the first trial run to assess market fit, feasibility, impact on processes and quality before devoting resources to large-scale production. Proficient in managing a diverse range of project activities from Concept to Commissioning .
Job Description
- Spearheading unit for end-to-end operations management
- Identifying improvement opportunities for maximisation of production, operational cost reduction , energy and raw material optimisation, automation and implementation of projects to improve unit's profitability
- Implementation of various initiatives of operational excellence such as TPM , ISO 9001/ ISO14001 / OHSAS 18001
- Maintaining highest standards of EHS culture
- Drafting project estimates, budgets, schedules, execution plan, daily & weekly work progress report, site progress report and log sheets; keeping the record of the same while maintaining standards
- Standardizing processes and drafting & communicating reports generated; coordinating in material planning Developing & executing the operations project with multiple engineers & managers; interacting with project consultants/clients for all site activities
- Evaluating the daily reports of all sites and executing Shelf life validation and control of the product
- Manage green field and brown field projects
