About Job
The client company is looking for senior incumbent to ensure accurate and compliant accounting transactions for multiple entities in client company's tracking, monitoring, evaluating and improving accounting operations. The role will report to "Head of Finance & Accounts". S/He has overall Experience of 10-15 Years in F&A in a manufacturing industry, preferably an agribusiness. Able to lead and inspire the accounting team, set a clear vision, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Job Description
Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Creation and maintenance of service levels to various business units from accounting standpoint
Creation of strategies to mitigate risks arising from critical accounting processes - Management of day to day accounting operations
Implement and Monitor month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting activities
Ensure adherence to various compliances across legal entities
Ensure consistent audit preparedness and resolve periodic audit findings - Establish strong professional relationships with regulatory authorities
Establish strong network with industry professionals to stay up to date with latest accounting policies - Creation and Maintenance of Internal Accounting Corporate Policies
Monitor and implement industry best practices and emerging technologies (ERP, etc.) to automate
accounting process
Training and development of accounting team for improved efficiency and retention
