The client company is looking for the DGM/GM Accounts & compliances a Lead - Accounts and Compliances role wherein S/He will ensure accurate and compliant accounting transactions for multiple entities in the client organization by tracking, monitoring, evaluating and improving accounting operations.
Job Description
Job Responsibilites
Strategy:
● Accountabilities
- Creation and maintenance of service levels to various business units from accounting standpoint
- Creation of strategies to mitigate risks arising from critical accounting processes
● Key Performance Indicators
- Timely reporting of data and reports to business stakeholders
- Risk Scores on each SOP
Operations:
● Accountabilities
o Management of day to day accounting operations
o Implement and Monitor month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting activities
o Ensure adherence to various compliances across legal entities
o Ensure consistent audit preparedness and resolve periodic audit findings
● Key Performance Indicators
o Updated books of accounts as per set timelines
o High accuracy in financial data
o Zero compliance violations
o Reduction in issues from audit reports
Stakeholder Management
● Accountabilities
o Establish strong professional relationships with regulatory authorities
o Establish strong network with industry professionals to stay up to date with latest accounting policies
● Key Performance Indicators
o Effective management of regulatory inquiries
o Timely implementation of policies as per changing landscape
People and Systems Management
● Accountabilities
o Creation and Maintenance of Internal Accounting Corporate Policies
o Monitor and implement industry best practices and emerging technologies (ERP, etc.) to automate accounting
process
o Training and development of accounting team for improved efficiency and retention
● Key Performance Indicators
o % Adherence to Policies ; Reduction in Time taken to execute
o Reduction in errors in data and reports ; Reduction in operating costs of accounting
