About Job
The Finance & Accounting Leader is the key Senior Management position reports to Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, gathering, and analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports. Also responsible for developing and directing the company’s analytical, financial plans and policies. With a hands-on approach to all aspects of an organization’s finances, a Vice President of Finance must ensure a company complies with tax laws and regulations specific to the industry while driving a high on compliance culture, completely operating on SAP, down to the last line of finance function in the plants.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified CA with 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounting functions of manufacturing companies out of which at least 3 years shall be in middle management/ sr management cadre in a reputed company with turnover of Rs 1000 Cr & above
- In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance and other regulatory matters
- Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment
- Possesses critical knowledge of multiple state tax laws as well as basic accounting issues
- Able to manage set of qualified finance professionals
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation
- Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company.
- Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
- Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs
- Routinely review revenue cycle metrics to identify and address issues affecting overall performance proactively.
- Manage the company’s compliance with local authorities and auditors
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure the company hits revenue targets
- Lead the financial integration efforts, ensuring seamless transition, and optimizing financial processes within the SAP environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and decision-making
