About Job
The client company is looking for well qualified formulation R&D lead who will be responsible for formulation design to contribute to the development of candidates and products for the agrochemical business. (S/He) will head the Formulation Function, with 2 well experienced GLs as direct reports leading Formulation Development (for generics and NCEs) and Analytical Methods section respectively. Overall this individual will be leading a team of 24 researchers comprising of 2 senior PhDs and 1 well experienced masters qualified professional. This team contributes to the over all R&D strategy while initiating, directing and coordinating formulation development activities that are critical to the related discovery and development programs.

Profile Requirements
Educational Qualification
- PhD in Science/pref. Chemistry from a reputed University / Institute with excellent academic credentials
Experience
- Ph.D. in chemistry, analytical, physical chemistry, materials science, or related physical science
- Minimum 20 years of experience in formulation R&D with focus on the agrochemical industry
- Experience and demonstrated success in formulation development and delivery across a range of molecules, and through all stages of development, including performance qualification, regulatory aspects, and registration
- Extensive knowledge of the scientific literature and of emerging research areas of agri science
- Experience and understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE), Quality by Design (QbD), and related tools
- Process Analytical Technology (PAT), scale up, formulation and process technologies
