Job Description
Production & Plant Operations
- Planning plant activities; implementing them with a view to ensure smooth running of plastic plants & timely accomplishment of production targets within the cost parameters.
- Identifying, developing & maintaining local vendor base for obtaining timely supply of materials at favourable terms to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency in operations to improve quality standards & achieve maximum cost savings.
- Coordinating the entire product development including requirement analysis, planning, finalizing specifications, designing & prototype development of various products.
- Making suitable jigs & fixtures for production speed & also for functional testing
Operations & Maintenance
- Effectuating predictive, preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules of plant assets; conducting periodic checks to ensure performance of various equipment.
- Preparing various project reports for identifying areas of obstruction / defects, conducting troubleshooting, service & repair to rectify the equipment.
Quality Assurance
- Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001-2015 version, HACCP & Food/Pharma quality standards Establishing quality & safety standards, implementing stringent quality control systems for incoming materials to enhance quality of products & reduce the processing rejection rate.
- Executing techniques/ measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in customer returns & cost of Quality.
- Monitor, customer satisfaction index & constantly improve by devising suitable methods
Team Management
- Leading, recruiting, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in plant operations & meeting targets.
- Creating & sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities & motivates high performance in team members.
