The client company is looking for senior IT manager with over 18+ years of experience in managing complex IT Operations infrastructure along with focus on end user experience. Experience in managing forecasts, technology strategy, training, development and documentation.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilites:
- Manage IT Operations: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of IT operations, including compute, storage, and backup infrastructure across multiple business units.
- Team Management: Lead a diverse team of employees and contractors with expertise in various technology areas such as Unix, Windows, storage, database, and data protection. This includes managing resources across different regions.
- Client Operations: Supervise the client operations team responsible for supporting end-user environments, including Windows and Mac computers, IT helpdesk, IT asset management, and handling end-user escalations.
- Budget Planning: Develop and manage IT forecasts and budget plans for various infrastructure components and IT managed services engagements.
- Strategic Roadmap: Participate in strategic discussions to align IT initiatives with long-term business needs. Drive initiatives for large enterprise systems to support business goals.
- Efficiency and Automation: Drive efficiencies through the implementation of automation, self-service options, Chatbots, and other AI tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Talent Development: Actively participate in talent development and skillset management to ensure the success of the organization. Enable career growth for team members through promotions, job rotations, and training opportunities.
