Key Responsibilities:

1. Factory Performance Management:

   • Anchor end-to-end factory KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement in performance.
   • Lead a team of 100 employees across functions and verticals, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.

2. Production and Cost Management:

   • Accountable for delivering production targets while maintaining cost targets within set measures.
   • Partner with cross-functions to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance cost efficiency without compromising quality and safety standards.

3. Strategic Partnership and Planning:

   • Collaborate with India and Regional leadership to develop the India Supply strategy aligned with the Global manufacturing strategy, ensuring long-term business deliverables.
   • Chalk out priorities for the factory for the next 3-5 years, focusing on delivery, future capabilities development, and strengthening the factory management operating system.

4. Cross-Functional Team Leadership:

   • Lead a cross-functional team for ideation, development, and deployment of an effective site strategy to address compelling business needs and achieve KPIs (Safety, Quality, Cost, and Service).

5. People Development and Engagement:

   • Ensure effective execution and tracking of goals governing people development, including capabilities development, employee engagement, and line manager development.
   • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement to enhance employee skills and engagement.

6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

   • Maintain compliance with Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sanitation standards at the site, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. 15+ years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leading large teams and driving operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve targets.
4. Strategic mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to drive business priorities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
6. Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies, optimizing production processes, and managing costs.
7. Sound knowledge of Quality, GMP, and Sanitation standards, with a focus on ensuring compliance and product safety.
