We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Leader with nearly three decades of expertise in Finance & Accounting, adept at providing strategic direction and leadership. The ideal candidate will specialize in driving collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, with a proven track record in identifying operational strengths and weaknesses, implementing tailored strategies, and ensuring efficient processes. They should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in dynamic environments and possess a strong finance acumen, particularly in collaborating with key decision-makers across target organizations for revenue expansion and business growth.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence at the time of investment in Portfolio entities, ensuring proper resolution of due diligence points.
- Negotiate effectively during Term Sheet and Definitive Agreements to facilitate seamless investment closures with Portfolio entities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations on all requirements and deliverables, fostering transparency and trust crucial for maintaining investor relations and fund performance.
- Actively participate in review meetings with the team to discuss progress, identify gaps, and suggest effective solutions.
- Partner with various levels, including top management across the organization, to develop resources, produce standards & procedures, and facilitate process improvements for the Fund.
- Review Portfolio entities' performance in collaboration with the Investment team and provide valuable insights on financials and forecasts.
- Evaluate and assist Portfolio entities in achieving cost savings, developing accounting policies, strengthening internal controls, and raising working capital.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI guidelines and Investors Agreement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Legal, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Nearly three decades of experience in Finance & Accounting, with a focus on strategic leadership.
- Proven track record of effectively managing stakeholder relationships and driving collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in facilitating investment closures and maintaining investor relations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
