This individual will be responsible for US/Europe/African/Middle East geographies and should have a prior track record in handling international sales in any of these. They should have led the sales process from lead generation to prospecting, negotiations and client acquisition with decent exposure to collaborating with the logistics and documentation team towards ensuring final delivery of the product. They will be responsible for generating international sales of 30+ crores in the very first year with support from sales coordinators under them, one per individual with atleast 25 to 30% YoY growth.
Job Description
The ideal professional should be an independent revenue generator with 8+ years of experience in the targeted international markets with an excellent prior track record of growth and drive to excel further. They should have generated a net margin of at least 4 to 5 crores and overall topline of 10+ crores.
Key roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage International business from existing customers and countries with sustainable growth.
- Establish new customers and new markets for future growth strategies.
- Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Meeting with clients in person to finalize contracts, discuss product features, and ensure that all parties are clear on terms and conditions.
- Researching new markets and potential customers to determine which have the biggest potential for the company's products.
- Setting pricing and margin targets in consultation with management to ensure profitability in target markets
- Reviewing bids from vendors that supply materials needed to create products.
- Communicating regularly with logistics and productions to ensure that deliveries of materials are on time and according to specifications.
- Provide planning inputs and forecasts to the S&OP team for production and logistic planning.
Managing inventory levels to ensure that the company has enough product available to meet demand. - Coordinate with technical and registration department for regulatory and product compliances (if applicable)
- Prepare an annual business plan for the international business with expense budget
