Deputy General Manager - Quality Assurance

The ideal candidate will be effective in implementing processes and procedures such as problem-solving techniques to facilitate robust quality management systems, process optimization & control, in-process/materials quality control, and documentation. They should possess a customer-focused mindset with strong acumen to achieve timely delivery of high-quality products, along with a track record of reducing supplier-customer turnaround and optimizing resource utilization.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Quality Control Management: Manage quality control processes and conduct internal and external quality audits. Conduct process capability studies to evaluate the effectiveness of Quality Management Systems and ensure optimal resource utilization. 
- 
Quality Engineering Methodologies: Develop and maintain quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet customer and regulatory requirements. 
- 
Leadership and Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence, resulting in improved quality performance, cost savings, and increased customer satisfaction. Manage QA ABP and oversee QA budgeting for Capex, R&M, and Indirect Tool Cost (IDTL). 
- 
Metrology Lab Oversight: Lead the Metrology Lab for inspection of finished products and calibration of all types of instruments, including special and receiver gauges. 
- 
Integrated Management Systems (IMS): Act as Management Representative (MR) and head the IMS Cell for Plants & Marketing functions. Oversee Integrated Management Systems (IMS) including ISO/IEC9001:2015, ISO/IEC14001:2015, ISO/IEC45001:2018, ISO/IEC50001:2018, & ISO/IEC22000:2018.

Liaison and Collaboration: Maintain regular liaison with consultancy firms and certification bodies such as DNV and Intertek to ensure compliance and certification. 
- 
Employee Development: Mentor and train employees at all levels within the organization on IMS systems, ensuring alignment and upgrading of these systems. 
- 
Certification Achievement: Play a key role in achieving certification of all management systems within the designated time frame.
