About Job


The role holder will be responsible for serving as HR Business Partner and Consultant for the Zonal Leadership of the domestic Agri Inputs Business of the client company. This role will be supporting a topline of ~700-800 crores for 3 zones of Cluster 2 namely : South 2 (AP/TL), South 1 (TN/Kar/Kerala), West (Maharashtra) and East (CG, West Bengal, Orrisa) and a manpower base of upto 1200-1300 members including upto 1100 contractual work force during peak season. The role holder serves as a single point of contact for addressing all employee related issues and concerns in the 3 zones of Cluster 2

Roles and Resposibilites:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will
    support the strategic growth of a business.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on HR issues.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching,
    compensation, and organizational development.
  • Provide zonal inputs to the Head HRBP which assist in the formulation of HR strategy and Budgets for the Agri Inputs Business.
  • Provide feedback / inputs to COE teams during design of key HR Initiatives and policies for specific HR requirements of the Agri Inputs Business.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for Zonal Leadership to clarify any queries on HR policies / procedures and provide consultation on HR related issues.
  • Provide inputs to Head HRBP on critical roles and succession planning in the Zones.

Qualifications:
Basic:

  • Post Graduate Degree in HR, with a minimum 8+ years of experience in the HR with 3+ years
    in Business Partner role.
  • Successful experience as an HR leader in mid size / large employee company aligned to the
    specific HR Business Partner role/client group.
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization
    development, change management, and employee relations.
  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal
    employment laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated credibility and integrity in communications to ensure information flows upward
    and downward.
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company.
  • Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience.
