Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the periodic targets. Must be a technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall success in supply chain operations.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs. Develop inventory control policies/processes, implement inventory tracking systems, and maintain the stock. Implement strategies to improve OTIF performance, minimizing late deliveries and stockouts.
• Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure the smooth flow of products. Monitor logistics providers, manage transportation routes, and optimize delivery schedules to minimize costs and meet customer expectations.
• Demand and Supply Planning: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and coordinate procurement activities. Ensure alignment between supply and demand to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains within the supply chain. Implement lean management principles, conduct continuous improvement initiatives, and leverage technology and automation solutions to streamline operations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that may impact the availability and cost of goods.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of the supply chain. Monitor and analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations) to align supply chain activities with organizational objectives. Build relationships with external partners, customers, and suppliers to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

 Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role within the textile industry.
• In-depth knowledge of textile supply chain processes, including sourcing, production planning, logistics, and distribution. Experience in handling of logistics of yarn dyed and piece dyed fabric is desired.
• Familiarity with textile quality standards, regulations, and sustainability practices.
