The candidate should be adept at assessing project requirements, negotiating project budgets, timelines, and specifications with vendors and managers, and building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders while consistently delivering high-quality results.

Job Description


Professional Strengths & Attributes:

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure ongoing communication with departments as the primary point of contact.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects according to the time plan and ensure alignment of goals, resources, and budgets.
  • Monitor progress and deliverables against plans and mitigate issues when they arise.

Strategic Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies in line with the organization's vision and mission, resulting in reduced maintenance costs while ensuring machine availability for production.
  • Plan and execute annual maintenance and CAPEX budgets, achieving cost savings through efficient resource allocation and vendor management.
  • Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at the plant level.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve maintenance efficiency, resulting in increased departmental efficiency.
  • Create schedules for planned preventive maintenance (PPM), ensuring that all preventive maintenance is completed, organizing ongoing maintenance tasks, and leading the team to deliver results.

Project and People Management:

  • Lead three-wheeler, scooter, and motorcycle projects in India and abroad, including lines and equipment, utilities power generation, distribution, MDB, LDB, installation & commissioning, improvement, and overhaul projects, increasing machine reliability and extending equipment lifespan.
  • Successfully implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, resulting in reduced downtime and increased overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Maximize manpower utilization through effective scheduling and training programs, resulting in increased productivity.
