The client company is seeking a self-motivated professional with over 18 years of extensive experience in management and new business development on both Pan-India and international levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in New Product Development (NPD), Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and P&L management, driving the organization forward with innovative solutions and strategic business planning.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Requirements:
- Fully understand Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) requirements from the initial stages and engage with them effectively.
- Conduct SWOT analysis of key competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Enhance and implement the latest technologies to achieve manufacturing excellence.
- Work collaboratively using a Cross-Functional Team (CFT) approach to propose innovative solutions, including Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) and alternative raw material proposals.
Strategic Business Planning:
- Develop comprehensive business plans that identify potential customers across diversified segments.
- Regularly visit customers both within India and internationally to strengthen relationships and explore new business opportunities.
New Business Development and M&A:
- Lead efforts in joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions to expand the organization's reach and capabilities.
- Oversee the overall P&L management, ensuring profitable growth and financial health of the organization.
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities through detailed market analysis and strategic planning.
Leadership and Organizational Growth:
- Take overall responsibility for propelling the organization forward using a collaborative CFT approach.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in business processes, ensuring the organization remains competitive and responsive to market changes.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture within the team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Professional Strengths & Attributes:
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in new business development and strategic planning.
- Expertise in understanding and meeting OEM requirements, conducting SWOT analysis, and implementing advanced technologies.
- Proficient in developing and executing business plans, managing technical sign-offs, and handling commercial settlements.
- Extensive experience in P&L management, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, proposing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement.
