Job Description
Position Overview: We are looking for an accomplished leader with over 22 years of experience in the agri/allied chemicals industry, especially in institutional sales and B2C branded sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crop protection, business operations, exports, sales & marketing, and coordination with manufacturing and R&D. With a proven track record in managing P&L and driving organizational transformation, this is a unique opportunity to lead a high-growth business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to devise business strategies for the Crop Protection Chemicals Business.
- Explore growth opportunities both organically and inorganically, expanding into new geographies and adjacencies like CDMO and specialty chemicals.
- Maintain a robust product pipeline in coordination with R&D/product innovation teams.
- Oversee business growth in existing markets while ensuring production volumes and product quality meet strategic goals.
- Drive operational excellence, quality enhancements, and adherence to statutory, safety, and environmental norms.
- Build relationships with key suppliers, customers, and government officials.
- Lead initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, resolve complaints, and enhance customer-centricity.
- Implement MIS and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage technology and IT applications to improve supply chain, manufacturing, and business sustainability.
