Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership & Transformation
- Drive the HR agenda aligned with business strategy and plant operational goals.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives focused on scalability, efficiency, and future readiness.
- Foster a high-performance, value-driven culture across all levels of the organization.
- Industrial Relations & Union Management
- Build and maintain harmonious union relationships through proactive communication and trust-building.
- Lead wage settlements, collective bargaining, and grievance redressal effectively.
- Ensure timely resolution of conflicts and industrial disputes.
- Employee Engagement & Workforce Development
- Design and implement engagement strategies for blue- and white-collar employees.
- Develop retention frameworks and career development pathways tailored to workforce segments.
- Drive employee motivation and satisfaction through structured interventions and feedback mechanisms.
- Compliance, Legal & Statutory Adherence
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, factory acts, and EHS regulations.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and regulatory filings for the plant.
- Maintain risk-free HR operations by anticipating and addressing compliance issues.
- Talent Management & Capability Building
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to build a future-ready workforce.
- Collaborate with functional heads for succession planning and leadership development.
- Promote internal mobility and performance-driven talent practices.
- Plant Administration & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management at the plant site.
- Establish and monitor SLAs for all administrative services.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and productive working environment for all employees.
- Business Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Act as a strategic HR business partner to plant leadership.
- Liaise with corporate HR for aligning central policies with site-specific realities.
- Support change management initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
- Team Leadership & Change Enablement
- Mentor and lead a high-performing HR team with clear accountability and development plans.
- Role-model empathy, decisiveness, and collaborative leadership.
- Act as a change agent by driving cultural, operational, and behavioral transformation.
