This role seeks a Vice President – Business Development to spearhead transformative growth during an ambitious multi-fold expansion phase. S/He will identify and secure new business opportunities across domestic and global markets, build high-impact strategic partnerships, and drive entry into sectors such as marine defense, aerospace, and critical industrial applications. S/He will lead the full business development cycle—from market intelligence and client engagement to solution design, negotiation, and deal closure—while collaborating with engineering and leadership teams to craft tailored technical offerings. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with deep ecosystem understanding and the capability to scale high-value business operations.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute long-term business development strategies aligned with organizational growth priorities.

Identify and evaluate new opportunities across defense, marine, aerospace, and high-technology industrial sectors.

Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic, high-value domestic and international projects.

Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to refine growth strategy.

Develop and nurture senior-level relationships with defense agencies, PSUs, OEMs, shipyards, and private enterprises.

Serve as the primary commercial and technical interface for key clients and strategic partners.

Lead end-to-end bid management, including proposal creation, pricing, and solution positioning.

Drive contract negotiation and closure while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to deliver feasible and cost-effective proposals.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely client delivery commitments.

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team with clear KPIs and performance metrics.

Foster a culture of innovation, client-centricity, and continuous improvement within the commercial organization.

Represent the organization at industry forums, trade exhibitions, and strategic conferences to enhance brand visibility.
