The role serves as the central compliance custodian, ensuring rigorous and timely adherence to all statutory obligations while acting as the primary interface with regulatory bodies, law-enforcement agencies, and investigative authorities
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Ensure end-to-end compliance with all statutory requirements under applicable chemical handling and safety regulations.

Maintain a robust compliance calendar to track renewals, filings, inspections, and approvals.

Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, logistics, security, and other functions to drive timely compliance closure.

Monitor validity, renewal timelines, and documentation for all licenses related to manufacturing, storage, transport, and sale.

Maintain accurate and audit-ready records of permits, approvals, buyer documentation, and compliance certificates.

Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities including PESO, police, district administration, and environmental agencies.

Represent the organization during statutory audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and official inquiries.

Coordinate with Customs, Excise, and other departments for regulatory submissions and clarifications.

Support internal and external investigations related to product diversion, misuse, loss, theft, or unauthorized transactions.

Ensure timely submission of accurate information and reports to enforcement and investigative agencies.

Drive audit preparedness across all sites by periodically reviewing documentation and procedural readiness.

Track and facilitate closure of audit findings, compliance gaps, and regulatory observations.

Conduct compliance awareness sessions, safety briefings, and regulatory training for plant, sales, and field teams.

Communicate regulatory updates, changes in laws, and new compliance expectations to relevant stakeholders.

Promote a culture of compliance, transparency, and operational discipline across the organization
