CANDIDATE PROFILE- Should be an aggressive Sales professional with strategic bend of mind. It'll be highly desirable if this individual has handled marketing portfolio as well at corporate level at some point in time. Which is why they are seeking MBA from premier institute ( though it is not mandatory). The person should have pesticide or seed (any seed) background preferably from MNCs. Should currently be handling sizeable portion of the country (may be south or North or West Zone or combination), if not entire country. Zonal Managers of MNCs will also be suitable. Depending on crop/product type, should be handling anywhere between 50 -200 crores of sales revenue. Important trait here is managing large team sizes, excellent team management skills and should have demonstrated strategic thinking while discharging his responsibilities as ZM or through exposure to product management or marketing roles/initiatives.
