Our Client which is a very promising and well funded precision agriculture startup, uses AI, IoT, and analytics to remove the guesswork from farming for over 35000 acres of horticulture farms, enabling horticulture farmers using our clientâs application to manage their crops remotely and profitably. This close monitoring & timely application of inputs on the crops also results in high quality fruit and vegetable produce. Our client is looking for a young, smart & intelligent CA qualified professional who is a highly-motivated individual & excited to juggle between multiple work streams across numerous verticals and grow an Agritech based start-up in India. S/He will be required to work closely with the Senior Management Team with respect to formulating business planning efforts of the Company and overseeing all aspects relating to accounting, direct and indirect taxation, financial operations and compliance related activities.
Job Description
- Responsible for end-to-end accounting and MIS related activities
- Handling monthly, quarterly and annual book closure
- Managing payroll and TDS related compliance including PF/ESIC/PT payments and filings
- Responsible for GST compliance from reconciliation of GSTR with the books of accounts to preparation & filing of monthly & annual GST return
- Keeping track of vendor payments, inventory, and other day to day activities
- Review the financial statements – P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Independently handle statutory, tax and internal audits
- Evaluate activities, legal policies, practices, and transactions to ensure they comply with all relevant laws and regulations
- Reviewing the current process and focus on automation of processes to ensure best in class practice
- Liaising with existing and prospective investors on information requests and diligence matters
