You, as an ideal candidate for Sales & Business Development, should be a target-orientated, consummate multi-tasker, communicator, and problem-solver who has good connections in supply chain departments of Pharma and Allied industry. You should be a self-motivated individual and must have an excellent grounding in sales strategies. It will help if you have a strong grounding in Science / B. Pharma/M. Pharma and a strong business network in the Pharma Sector.
Job Description
- Responsible for Customers based out of South Region
- Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target
- Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls
- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation & warehousing services
- Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
- Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers
- Responsible for aiding successful pick-up and delivering
- Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses.
- Cross Functional Responsibility
- Coordinate with the operations team for meeting customer requirements
- Coordinate with Finance Team to ensure timely and accrete bills are sent to customer as per agreed terms
- Follow up for payments and ensure payments are released as per agreed terms
- Reports
- Maintain Pipeline and their status – Weekly basis reports to be shared
- Update New Opportunities and their requirements – Weekly basis
