R&D Application Technologist
About Job
We are looking for an R&D Technologist who has the expertise and knowledge in food formulation development. The role involves developing new formulations and applications in plant-based meat, alt-dairy, and other food applications. This role will also include working with customers to identify project opportunities at select accounts, developing solutions to address specific needs, providing them with technical assistance, and working towards successful commercial implementation and strategic customer relationship building and support.
Job Description
Conduct trials and develop new formulations/concepts demonstrating the value of our
ingredient portfolio
Food preparation (bakery, meat, culinary, beverages, snacks etc.) and evaluation
(analytical, sensory, and texture analysis)
Testing R&D and manufacturing samples in food applications
Assisting in SOP development
Preparing food samples for visitors and customers
Provide technical support and develop prototypes for marketing campaigns, product
launches and other activities and tradeshows.
Keep up to date on food trends, customer needs, consumers insights, and technology
(including sharing with the team whenever needed).
Lead all activities related to the Food lab (equipment, maintenance, new equipment,
methods/procedures, safety, and service purchase).
Identifying gaps and being a source of the proposal to develop our plant protein ingredients
technical road map and concept development agenda.
