About Job
We are looking for a Head – Fire & Safety role, who has the expertise and knowledge in managing, implementing, and coordinating compliances ensuring that people, procedures, and equipment are in place with all the applicable legislation and best practice guidelines in relation to fire, safety and emergency response.
Job Description
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Advise corrective actions to be taken
by Plant Managers with respect to statutory safety requirements as per Factory
Act/Rules and report compliance status.
Enhance safety awareness amongst employees through Training and Safety
Promotional Activities (Programs implementation etc.)
Ensuring Fire prevention and protection and statutory compliances.
Develop, implement and monitor Safety Leadership Initiatives through various
Safety Meeting forums.
Drive Safety improvement across the organization by carrying out a comprehensive
Safety Audit and ensuring closure of all actionable points as agreed by
Management.
Coordinate and monitor implementation of all the agreed actionable plans of
various studies to prevent occupational health issues in employees/contractors.
IMS sustainability for continual improvement.
Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive Road Safety program across
CFCL.
Identifying best new safety practices adopted in various Fertiliser industries and
Refineries.
