The Commercial Head position is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving commercial success and overseeing business development strategies for our Testing & Certification business across the country. S/he will lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish The client company as a leading provider of food testing & Certification solutions nationwide.
Job Description
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's or master’s degree in food science, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or marketing are advantageous.
- Experience: Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles within the food testing or related industries, with exposure to Pan India operations.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of driving sales growth, building client relationships, and negotiating successful contracts in various regions of India.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a commercial team spread across multiple locations.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies for different regions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders across India.
- Customer Focus: A deep commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting client needs, considering the unique regional requirements.
