This position will hence, provide leadership and strategic direction to the client company while leading Sales teams of businesses, Team effecting market linkages, Analytics and Admin professionals. This BU is one of the most strategic Business units of the client company and an identified growth driver for the group. The role will also be required to identify expansion/acquisition/green field opportunities and develop the overall strategy.

Job Description


Detailed Roles & Responsibilities: 

 

Purpose of the Job: 

1.Manage the Sales & marketing team of the client business by optimum utilization of resources for seamless achievement of sales targets in line with the Annual Budget & LTS plans. 

2.Co-ordinate with supply chain for ensuring availability of materials on time through proper forecasting and production planning. 

3.Manage working capital - Receivables & Inventory - through proper planning, monitoring to achieve the budgeted sales : GCA ratio. 

4.Manage the branding and promotional activities by optimum utilization of resources for creating demand for our focus & specialty products. 

 

 

Decisions made by the Job holder: 

1.Division-wise / month-wise sales planning, budgeting & promotional budgets. 

2.Product portfolio management through rationalisation & launch of new product launches 

3.Allocation & utilization of resources 

4.Budgets - Sales, Promotional expenses, Manpower 

5.Pricing & Discounts, Collaboration for New product launches
