The client company is seeking experienced professionals specializing in the design and development of cutting-edge automotive infotainment software. This expertise should encompass utilizing Android and QNX operating systems across various hardware platforms. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in platform creation, product management, and the implementation of agile methodologies to facilitate efficient project execution and accelerate time-to-market. Proven capabilities in managing the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery, are essential. This includes planning, defining scope, setting timelines, chartering, preparing Statements of Work (SOWs), vision-scope documentation, monitoring progress, coordinating across disciplines, resource planning and documentation, budgeting, vendor management, and execution.
Job Description
The role and responsibilities include:
- Playing a pivotal role in the Architect/SME capacity within the team dedicated to Ethernet Switch, AVB Stack & IP Networking. This involves providing crucial support on architecture-related matters, contributing to technical proposals for RFQs, and offering expert technical solutions to address critical or major issues faced by the team.
- Serving in a techno-managerial capacity for Audio Management, overseeing a team of approximately 18 talented engineers.
- Demonstrating proficiency in project management methodologies, which includes planning, tracking, and resolution of escalations for both external clients and internal projects.
- Leveraging a deep understanding of architecture and design within the Automotive Audio domain to conduct technical reviews within and across teams, facilitating informed decision-making processes.
- Leading projects involving Android-Based Infotainment Systems and QNX Infotainment Systems on diverse hardware platforms such as TI, Intel, QUALCOMM, and Samsung, catering to various automotive OEM customers.
- Successfully managing global teams across multiple locations, including India, China, USA, and Germany, ensuring effective coordination and communication across geographies.
