Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Systems: Lead the development and implementation of supply chain management systems, processes, and ERP solutions from the inception of the company.
- Team Leadership: Lead and train team members across main supply chain functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
- Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with Shipping Lines and Port Operators to ensure smooth cargo handling operations.
- Inventory Management: Manage raw material and finished goods stock levels efficiently to optimize working capital and minimize excess slow-moving stocks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Finance and Treasury teams to ensure timely approval of credit lines with assigned banks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on developing and implementing systems and processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and train team members effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining positive relationships with external partners.
- Proven ability to manage inventory levels and optimize working capital.
- Experience collaborating with Finance and Treasury teams on credit line approvals.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant software applications.
