Job Description
Position: Director of Software Engineering
We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Leader with a proven track record in developing products and solutions within the Broadband, Wi-Fi, and Networking domains. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading and building software organizations, as well as collaborating effectively with cross-location R&D teams. They will have a strong specialization in product delivery, operations management, and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Currently leads the Software division of the Broadband Home Solutions team, overseeing a team of 40+ software developers.
- Specializes in software development for Broadband Gateways and Wi-Fi Extender products.
- Responsible for release scoping and planning, process and efficiency improvement, quality assurance, resource, and budget management.
- Drives new product introductions and supports customer launches.
- Demonstrates a successful track record of delivering multiple projects with ODM and JDM vendors.
- Experience in transitioning projects from on-site teams and building off-shore teams from scratch.
