About Job
Our client company is seeking a professional to oversee the expansion of blueberry production on the company's farms and leased lands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving targeted yields efficiently, on time, within budget, and adhering to quality standards. This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive the achievement of ambitious revenue targets, scaling up production and supply chain management (SCM) capabilities by 10X, aiming to reach revenue of up to 120 crores within two years from the domestic market.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee various aspects of scaling blueberry production.
- Achieve targeted yields efficiently, on time, within budget, and matching quality standards.
- Drive revenue targets of up to 120 crores within two years.
- Scale production and SCM capabilities by 10X.
- Manage commercial aspects, process standardization, people management, and ROI of the blueberry project.
Role Requirement:
- Experience: Relevant experience of 6 to 8 years. Proven track record in executing complex farm operations and meeting targeted yield and quality parameters
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Horticulture or M.Sc. in Horticulture
- Knowledge Required:
- General agriculture practices and inputs
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery, equipment, and technology used in berry operations
- Cultivation techniques
- Pest management strategies and crop protection practices
- Fertigation and irrigation systems. Role of macro / micro-nutrients
- Proficiency in record keeping, data analysis, and report writing
- Blueberry knowledge is preferred but not essential
- Green house/Shade net crop management
