Our esteemed client is seeking a seasoned professional with a profound expertise in Sales & Marketing and a deep understanding of P&L management. This individual should have hands-on experience collaborating with SCM, R&D, and Production teams at renowned seed companies, aligning with ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic vision for leading the Seed Business Unit, excelling in both people management and portfolio development. Experience with field crops like wheat, paddy, corn, or mustard is essential. As the Chief Operating Officer, the selected leader will drive the organization’s strategies, ensuring operational excellence across R&D, Procurement, Production, SCM, Sales, and Marketing
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Hands on with S&M, have deep understanding of P&L management having directly worked with SCM, R&D, Production teams towards meeting growth ambitions.
- The concerned person should be senior enough to manage the Seed BU with a strategic vision for growth, ably working on people and portfolio.
- The candidate must have exposure to field crops like wheat OR paddy and Corn OR mustard. As COO, the person will build, lead and optimize the Organization’s strategies and operations for growth of seeds business. He will be responsible for maintaining and driving operational results under all parameters, including R&D, Procurements, Production, SCM, Sales and Marketing.
- He will lead HODs of Purchases, Productions, Sales & Marketing departments and will be directly responsible for entire seeds business P&L to achieve the Organization’s ambitious targets.
- Timely Preparation, Monitoring and adherence of AOP and 5Years Plan, in line with the Budget
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
- Responsible to drive & oversee Marketing & Sales to improve product portfolio, customer acquisition, Satisfaction & retention
- Monitor Business performance & take corrective measures
