About Job
We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer with deep technical expertise and leadership experience to drive the design, development, and validation of advanced software systems. This role is ideal for seasoned engineers passionate about solving complex problems in high-performance computing, semiconductor systems, embedded platforms, and system software. S/He will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers, firmware developers, validation engineers, and project managers, to ensure robust, scalable, and innovative product delivery from concept to post-silicon validation.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions across system software, firmware, diagnostics, and validation domains.

Lead pre-silicon and post-silicon validation efforts for SoC/CPU/APU/ASIC platforms.

Design and develop diagnostic tools for memory controllers (UMC), interconnects (NTB), IOMMU, cache, and APIC subsystems.

Drive requirement engineering, module ownership, and end-to-end delivery of platform features and test scenarios.

Collaborate with hardware IP designers to define validation strategies, memory test scenarios (e.g., DDR4/DDR5, HBM), and ensure quality release.

Lead and mentor global teams in a SCRUM/Agile environment ensuring technical guidance and best practices.

Contribute to board bring-up, Linux kernel/device driver development, and hardware-software integration.

Interface with diagnostic OS tools (e.g., SimNow, HDT, DiagOS) to isolate and debug complex hardware/software issues.

Champion CI/CD practices and continuous improvement through tooling and automation.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven success in leading diagnostics for IOMMU, NTB, cache, or processor features on x86/ARM platforms.

Proficient in debugging and validation tools such as GDB, JIRA, Perforce, Git, and Confluence.

Experience working in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and bring-up environments.

Demonstrated experience with Agile/SCRUM project management, sprint planning, and team coordination.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of delivering high-quality, reliable software systems.

Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.
