With nearly 40 active unions and associations, the position demands exceptional negotiation, conciliation, and conflict resolution skills to sustain industrial harmony. Balancing organizational goals with employee welfare, while proactively engaging stakeholders, this role is the custodian of industrial peace and workforce stability in a highly sensitive landscape.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Industrial Relations Management: Build and sustain harmonious relations across a large and diverse workforce, ensuring alignment between organizational objectives and employee expectations.

Union Engagement & Negotiation: Lead negotiations with multiple unions and employee associations, managing disputes and fostering constructive dialogue to maintain workplace stability.

Collective Bargaining & Settlements: Drive long-term settlements and collective bargaining agreements that balance employee welfare with organizational sustainability.

Litigation & Disciplinary Oversight: Handle labor-related litigation in statutory forums, oversee disciplinary proceedings, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Strategic Foresight: Anticipate potential unrest, implement proactive grievance mechanisms, and establish strong relationships with government and regulatory bodies.

Workforce Integration: Bridge cultural and operational gaps across different employee segments, fostering a unified and motivated workforce.
