The Project Head will lead large-scale, capital-intensive Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer, DAP, Chemical, and other strategic projects vital to organizational growth. This flagship role demands strong technical acumen, visionary planning, and execution excellence. It involves end-to-end project ownership—from concept and design to procurement, regulatory approvals, contracting, and on-site execution. The focus is on safety, timelines, budgets, compliance, and quality aligned with global benchmarks. The role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams, regulators, licensors, EPC partners, and vendors to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery. Key priorities include contractor evaluation, risk management, and stringent quality control. The incumbent steers progress reviews, financial oversight, vendor selection, and conflict resolution to achieve timely and successful project completion.
Job Description
Key Responsibiltes

Develop end-to-end project roadmap with milestones, activities, dependencies, and risk considerations.

Conduct scoping and pre-feasibility studies to validate project requirements and critical success factors.

Perform detailed feasibility analysis ensuring alignment with technical, commercial, safety, and quality objectives.

Prepare comprehensive tender documents with accurate specifications in coordination with finance and legal.

Evaluate contractors, licensors, and vendors based on cost, technology, reliability, safety, and track record.

Incorporate contractual safeguards to prevent delays, cost overruns, and quality deviations.

Secure all statutory, legal, and regulatory approvals within required timelines.

Review project progress periodically using S-curve and ensure alignment with approved plans.

Resolve contractor and vendor issues proactively, ensuring seamless communication and timely approvals.

Monitor project expenditure with finance teams to ensure strict adherence to budget limits.

Enforce stringent quality standards across materials, procurement, technology, and construction methodologies.

Identify and correct deviations from approved safety, quality, and timeline norms.

Present timely project progress updates and insights to leadership as required.

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing project team with strong technical capability.

Drive capability development, succession planning, and leadership pipeline for critical project roles.
